Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, marked the milestone with reflections on BNB’s remarkable journey. Sharing his thoughts on X, he highlighted the token’s rise from its $0.10 ICO price eight years ago to today’s $1,000 high.
“Watching BNB go from $0.10 ICO price 8 years ago to today’s $1000 is something words cannot explain,” Zhao wrote. He noted that he was speaking as a community member and BNB holder, rather than in an official capacity.
He also thanked the global crypto community for its support, acknowledging both challenges and resilience along the way. “We had our challenges along the way, but we worked hard, we built, and we held,” he said.
